The dark beams, old log burner, painted faux brick walls and old banister railings gave this Richmond property a very dated look. The elevated ceilings, whilst adding a sense of space to the room, had no insulation in them whatsoever. The brief from our clients was clear; they wanted a warmer, brighter, more modern living space.
We designed and built an entertainment unit to house a new gas fire and TV, with side niches for books and ornaments. We also added a custom designed raw steel balustrade, finished with automotive clear gloss and glass panels to add the slight industrial touch they were after.
